Mike is 54 (much to his disgust!) and is married with a 17 year old daughter who is as mad about cars as he is.  He started his own auto electrical business in 1983 which he sold in 2007 to concentrate fully on his motor racing and instruction work  He has been involved in motor racing since the late 80's and spends most of his life at race tracks or commuting to them!  He started in motor racing by helping out with another team and soon got the bug.  On his third trip out in a Fiesta he won the race and that was the start of it all.  He won two championships in 1992 and 1997 and has since gone on to run other championship winners.  He thoroughly enjoys every aspect of motor racing and can be found most weekends at a circuit in the UK or abroad.  He is proud of his Team and loves the BBQs and beers with the boys after a long day running cars.

Steve is "in his 50's", married with two children.  He is also a Grandad!  He started work as a mechanic at Central garage Clitheroe many years ago.  He moved to his local Ford dealership joining as a Technician and has worked his way up to Master Technician.  He got involved in motor sport at the age of 17 (surprising he can remember that far back!) and entered rallies in a Cooper S.  He has been mainly involved in saloon car racing and worked with several BTCC drivers.  He gained experience with teams such as NWMS, Automech and GRV before joining MGA Motorsport back in the '90's.  He is the Chief Mechanic and right hand man to Mike. 

Des is 43 years old, single with two children and lives near Solihull.  He has been a master technician for Jaguar for 25 years.  He started in motor racing at the age of 18 in the MG Maestro Challenge and was mainly involved in rallying.  He then moved into the Metro GTi Challenge which was 50% rally and 50% circuit races.  He did two seasons with the Fiesta XR2i’s and joined the MGA Team in 1996.  He took time out to have his family and returned to the MGA Team in 2005 providing his fantastic mechanical skills in the Britcar 24 hour races running a Beetle and a Civic.  

Des loves motorbikes, all forms of motorsport, alcohol (all types!) and spending time with his children.  At the race meetings he likes nothing better than having a beer and a good laugh with the boys!

Gary is 57 years old and lives in Birmingham. He has worked for Lex Autolease Ltd since June 1997. He attended his first race at Cadwell Park at the age of 17 to watch Mini Cooper racing.  He has been with the MGA Team since the mid ‘90’s and has helped us in the Ford Credit Fiesta Challenge, the Ford S1 Championship at TOCA meetings and with the Radical. During his time with MGA he has provided invaluable help in Britcar Endurance racing with a Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6, a Honda Civic Type R, a Ford Focus and a  Seat Leon, including three 24hr Britcar races with the VW Beetle and Honda Civic. 

His hobbies include football and he supports Birmingham City FC (get a life Gary!) and any form of motorsport. He is the resident cook and produces a fine bacon buttie and b-b-q!  Everybody loves Gary and the Team wouldn't be the same without him. 

Anya is 17 years old and is Mike's beloved daughter.  She is obsessed by anything to do with cars which she has inherited from her dad.  She is hoping her dad will build her a race car in the very near future.  She attends as many race meetings with the MGA Team as possible.

Stewart is 23 and is studying Motorsport at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). He is hoping for a full-time technician role. He is interested in anything motorsport related, from racing to rally and attends most race meetings with MGA. He wants to start racing and own his own car; student loans don't cover these! An aim to drive at a high level would be the dream come true.

Other than motorsport, he loves playing football and is an events DJ.
